Weekend reflection

 We have completed three weeks in school. So it was time to reflect what we have gone through past week.

On 25/11/2023 third week reflection was conducted at general seminar hall.

Representatives from different schools came forward the names of different schools and representatives who came forward are mentioned in a sequential order :-

22)Govt.HSS Perumkulam representatives were Rojan and Sona from Physical Science and Hajira and Sreedevi from Mathematics Department.

  Finally Teacher Called out the name of Gopika from Mathematics Department to share her experience in Marthoma HS Kottarakara.

At last the reflection ended. Representatives from 22 different schools reflected. All of them had both positive and negative experiences. Some of them didn't get enough period to cover Lesson Plans but some of them were getting too manu substitution periods.Some of the said about lack of facilities in school.Similarly some of them were facing difficulty in classroom management and discipline.

About my past week experience i had a very nice experience in the past week. We had gone through both general and optional observation in the past week.Both leena miss and tany Miss observed my class and said about my class . In the past week students went for Kalotsavam there were lack of students in classes.I covered 15 lesson plan in total.Similarly we help students in their lunch time in providing food.Overall we had a gigantic experience in the past week.

Weekend reflection

 November 11,2023

Our first internship phase -1 started on 06/11/2023 first week came to and end so it was time to reflect what we have gone through.

So every saturday's we have to come to college to reflect about the past week experience as a teacher trainee. Students from different departments went to 22 different schools all of them had different experience.So to share about their past week experience our first week reflections was conducted on 11/11/2023.

On morning 10:00 am the session beginned.Vineeth sir gave an introduction speech about the importance of weekend reflections and welcomed different school representatives to the school.

Firstly Geethu Raman came on to the stage who went to VGHSS Nediyavila. She came as a representative of the school and reflected about the past week. After her reflection Athira added few points. 

Secondly Ashwathy and Priyanka from Mathematics Department represented Government High School Pooyappally. Both of them reflected about the past week experience.

Thirdly Lekshmi from Social Science Department represented SNMHSS Elampalloor.She reflected about the past week experience.

Fourthly Lijo from Social Science Department represented St.Mary's HSS Kizhaketherivu Kottarkara. He shared about the past week experience in school.

Fifthly Aishwarya from Mathematics Department represented Marthoma Higher Secondary School Valakom.She reflected about the past week experience.

Sixthly Parvathy KB from Social Science Department represented MAM HS Chengamadu.She reflected about the past week experience.

Seventhly Harinand and Parvathy from English Department represented SKVHSS Thrikkanamangal.Both of them reflected about the past week experience.

Eighthly Kavya from English Department represented KNMVHSS Pavithreshwaram.She reflected about the past week experience.

Ninthly Annu from Physical Science Department represented Devi Vilasom Vocational Higher Secondary School.She reflected about the past week experience.

Tenthly Amina Nasrin from English Department represented Krist Raj HSS Kollam.She reflected about the past week experience.

Almost 10 schools completed there reflections.

Hajira fromMathematics Department represented Government PVHSS Perumkulam.She got 19th chance to reflect. She reflected about her past week experience in school.

Divya from Natural Science Department represented St.Gregorious High School Kottarakara.She got 20th chance to reflect.She reflected about her past week experience in school.

Aksa from Natural Science Department represented SMHSS Kottara.She got 21st chance to reflect.She reflected about her past week experience in school.

Kavya from Natural Science Department represented Government High School Muttara.She got 22nd chance to reflect.She reflected about her past week experience in school.

Finally after the reflection of Kavya from Natural Science Department the Reflections came to an end.

Representatives from 22 different schools reflected about there experience in the past week.All of them had different experience from schools most of them had good experience in school only few of them told about bad experience.Most of the problems are maintaining discipline in classrooms, lack of facilities in school etc.Since it was a new experience all of them were literally excited.

At 12pm the bell ranged after that there was optional class.

Day 3

 Today marked the third day of our teaching practice. As per our routine, we arrived at the school at 9:15 AM, signed in at the headmaster's office, and were advised to participate in the morning assembly. The assembly commenced at 9:30 AM, evoking nostalgic memories of our time at the same school. During the assembly, the school authority distributed prizes to the deserving winners of the Sub-District Art Festival.



Day 2

 Today marked the second day of our teaching practice. Just as usual, we arrived at the school at 9:20 AM, after signing register in headmaster's office, We had a pleasant conversation with the headmaster to kick off the day. Unfortunately a strike organized by prominent student organizations was declared. Consequently, we made the decision to utilize our time on the school campus to plan for the upcoming classes. By around 2:30 PM, we followed the headmaster's advice and left the campus.

Teaching practice

 Day 1

INTRODUCTION

Today marks the commencement of our school-based practical sessions at St. Mary's HSS Kizhakkethiruvu. We are a group of 12 students, hailing from different disciplines, including social science with Dolly S, Akshay Augustin, and Mintu Biju; mathematics with Neenu Susan Joji, Priyada Raj PG, and Anna P Biju; Malayalam studies with Subinkumar and Chithira; and physical sciences with Aswin Krishna and Jeena John. Our day began when we arrived at the school at 9:20 AM, introduced ourselves to the headmaster, and took on our assigned responsibilities with the headmaster's approval.

We participated in the Clean Campus Green Campus program as a part of the Clean Kerala initiative at our school. Mr. S.R. Ramesh, the Municipal Chairman, addressed us and formally designated the school as a "Clean Campus Green Campus." Mrs. Thara, the PTA President, chaired the inauguration session , and Councilor Mrs. Bijeesh Shaji extended her best wishes. Following the grand program, we proceeded to our designated areas during the third period.

6 th hour I go to my class 8 I  , just introduce me and I ask there name and place. Then I check their previous knowledge 

The final hour was a free period, and during that time, we decided to watch a table tennis practice session in the classroom.

After the final bell, we took on the responsibility of school discipline duty and then left the school after signing the register in the headmaster's room.
